Amy co-founded Estate Legal in 2017 with Bonnie Martin, creating a practice built around specialist expertise, exceptional client service and relationships that truly matter. For more than 22 years, she has helped businesses navigate complex commercial property disputes with clear, commercially focused advice and a calm, strategic approach.

Before setting up Estate Legal, she trained at Pinsent Masons before moving with her team to Clarke Willmott in 2005. But she wanted to offer a different kind of service that puts clients right at the front and centre of the work she does. She advises landlords, tenants, investors and operators across the retail, leisure, hospitality and commercial property sectors, acting for clients including William Hill and Rank.
Her expertise spans the full range of commercial property disputes, including high-value dilapidations claims, forfeiture actions, contested break options, complex rent reviews, lease renewals and development-related matters. She is also regularly instructed by valuation surveyors, independent experts and arbitrators to provide specialist legal opinions.
Alongside her extensive work for national property portfolios, Amy has developed a particular reputation within the retail, hospitality and licensed trade sectors, advising clients including Wadworth & Company Ltd, St Austell Brewery Limited and Loungers Plc.
She is a member of the Property Litigation Association and the British Institute of Innkeepers and also a panel solicitor for Pubs Code matters.
